Wiper-less Windscreen/Windshield

Designed by Leonardo Fioravanti of Pininfarina, the Hidra features an aerodynamic design, this is a concept car that makes use of the wiper-less windscreen technology, this thechnology is called NANOTECH (short for nanotechnology). The first layer protects from sun and repels water, the second layer features "nano-dust" to push dirt to the edges of the windscreen and is activated by the third layer which senses the dirt, while everything is powered by the fourth layer which conducts electricity to keep it all going. The first car that will actually be produced that uses the wiper-less technology is the 2012 VW Passat.

BlackBerry PlayBook

BlackBerry's equivalent to the iPad has a smaller screen and is lighter than Apple's device. That's meant to make it appealing to business people on the move, the kind of people who already buy BlackBerry phones. Nearly six million iPads were sold in the first six months, so it's easy to see why Research in Motion, the Canadian firm behind the BlackBerry, wants a bite of Apple's market. One key selling point for RIM's product is, unlike the iPad, it runs Flash video, the most popular software for showing moving images online. Apple devices don't run Flash, thanks to a well-publicised feud between the company and Adobe, the firm behind the video technology. Analysts say the BlackBerry tablet device is better placed than many rivals to mount an effective challenge to Apple. But it's seen as more likely to find a niche in the market than to be an outright iPad-killer.

Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo announced that its new 3DS game machine, packed with glasses-free 3-D technology, won't be going on sale this year.The 3DS is the successor to Nintendo's DS portable game system. It's most noteworthy feature is that it plays 3D games without the need for special glasses. The Nintendo 3DS System will go on sale in Japan on Feb. 26 for about $299.

Glowing Wayne

In Lil Wayne's recently released video to accompany for his upcoming EP "I'm Not a Human Being", he shows off his latest glow in the dark tattoos, visible only with a black light. And he has come clean to and told everyone that the glowing green stars on his face and the lipstick kiss on his neck are real. In the behind-the-scenes footage released recently, he says, "I want everybody to know beforehand, when you see the black light and you see the kiss and the stars, don’t think that I got some s*** painted on me. The s*** hurt". "The best thing about the black light tattoo is that when you cut the light on, you can’t see them," he adds. They really look cool, but tattoo artists have mixed views regarding potential long-term effects of the glowing ink.

This is the latest offering from RIM, The Blackberry Torch 9800.
This is the first handset developed by Research in Motion (RIM) to run the BlackBerry 6 operating system. The touchscreen slider packs in a QWERTY keyboard, a Rich WebKit Browser, a capacitive 3.2" (360x480) touchscreen display, optical trackpad, a 624 Mhz processor, 4GB of built-in memory, and a 5 MP camera with flash and video recording (640x480).

In my opinion this is a must have. One thing i would of liked to see on the 9800 is High Definition video recording and display. But none the less, its an awesome phone!

Black Eyed Peas go 3D?

The Black Eyed Peas are in the process of creating a 3D documentary filmed by James Cameron. James Cameron is the man that made Avatar. The Black Eyed Peas are currently on the South American portion of their world tour, and the documentary will be filmed during this tour. The plot will be created by James Cameron. Will.i.am discussed the documentary in a recent magazine interview. "We have the biggest director, because we are the biggest group on the planet...People will be able to see us in the theater with the 3D glasses and everything."

Certainly can't wait to see how it turns out.

Kanye West "Power" music video shoot

Kanye West has started shooting the video for the first single "Power", off his upcoming album in New York this week. Photos from the sets of the video have already leaked on the Internet. The pictures don't really show much. All you see is Kanye serving himself at a food table. His upcoming album, "Good Ass Job" is one of the most anticipated albums of 2010, it is due for release on September 15th, along with KiD CuDi's new album dropping on the same day.
